The Nutcracker, the legendary ballet story written in 1816 by German author E. T. A. Hoffmann, in which young Marie Stahlbaum's favorite Christmas toy, the Nutcracker, comes alive on Christmas Eve. Adventures ensue as Tchaikovsky’s score draws Marie into a terrifying battle with the Mouse King, past a mystical snowstorm, and to the prince's Enchanted Kingdom.

The Ballet Palm Beach's Nutcracker will feature 18 professional dancers and character artists, along with 59 students from Ballet Palm Beach Academy.
